Nissan
Frontier Accessories, offers three levels of engine
potency - all with some of our best thinking built in. Start with the gutsy
4-cylinder engine. Move up to the 3.3-liter V6. Finish things off with the 210-hp
Super Charged V6. These are all aggressive trucks. But, for the most serious
towing power, the V6 and Super Charged engines can haul up to 5,000 pounds (automatic
transmission).

Features
- Nissan
Frontier The Super Charged 3.3-liter SOHC 1 2-valve V6 engine
delivers a whopping 210 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque (231 lb-ft with
manual transmission). What does that give you? An immediate boost that's
on tap any time, at any altitude. And because the supercharger was developed
just for this V6 and factory-installed, it's backed by the 5-year/60,000-mile
limited power train coverage.* Super Charged Frontiers (not including SVE
models) also boast 17-inch wheels and tires.
- The 2005
Nissan Frontier Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) senses
the weight in the rear of your Frontier (e.g., a loaded vs. empty bed) and
sends more force to the rear brakes, when necessary.
- All Nissan
Frontier Accessories - top to bottom - come with a confidence-boosting
4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). 4x4s go one step further, with a
G-sensor that "reads" the ground surface and applies the brakes accordingly
to slow the vehicle differently on pavement, dirt, or gravel.
- Unlike some trucks, Nissan
Frontier is built on a welded Ladder Frame with full-length
box-section rails for maximum strength, minimum flex and reduced noise and
vibration. All V6 and Super Charged models also feature up to three skid
plates to help protect the engine and fuel tank when you're venturing into
rougher territories.
- When the going gets tough, Nissan
Frontie rxe 4WD High is the way to go. When the going gets
unbelievably muddy, sticky, icy, two-steps-away-from-impossible, chunk into
4WD Low and keep yourself moving ahead.
